I asked them about a month ago to kindly place any ferret submissions under another category besides “rodentia”, explaining that it was dangerous to lump ferrets in with that vegetarian family of animals. They replied nicely that they would consider moving them to another category if it didn’t…
FIrst of all, Farrah is ADORABLE. I'm getting my first fuzzballs in a week (2 two year old girls :) ) I'm thinking about starting a blog for the two of them. I just wanted to say how cute Farrah is and tell you I love your blog!
Aw thank you! :) I’m glad you’re adopting, that’s the best way to go! Good luck with your new girls and your new blog, ferrets are the best little pets to have! If you have any questions when you get your new fuzzies don’t hesitate to ask me :)
When Farrah wants something, is fiercely playing with a toy, or if you’re taking something away from her that she has, she makes this hiss that sounds like you’re sucking in air from a balloon. It is the weirdest thing and I’ve never heard my past two ferrets ever make a noise like that. She’s been making this noise ever since we got her, but I’m just curious if anyone else has a fuzzy that does this too!
She’s a killing machine. She is constantly lunging herself at and chewing on our dog. It’s hilarious.
Then, she’s tearing me apart. I think I have the most bites and scratches all over my arms than I’ve ever had before! I know she’s just playing because she’s happily dooking away, but jeez.
And stealing things? I looked underneath the tv stand and found spoons, Jordan’s missing Xbox mic, my GLASSES, and a pack of batteries. :|
Farrah has to be the most outgoing ferret I’ve ever had. She’s so full of energy, and honestly I don’t even care how much she play-bites and steals our belongings, because I’d rather her be a little tyrant than unhealthy.
So Farrah was trying to get into this huge trash bag full of junk that I was using to clean up the room with, so I told her no and put it outside of the door and shut it and the first thing she did was bite my ankle, hiss at me, and crawl into her cage to go to sleep.
If she isn’t the little prissiest thing I have ever seen then I don’t know what is.
